Depending on their development and individual needs, future opportunities may include Interage Squad, Age Group Squad or, for a small number of divers identified by the Head Coach, Talent ID or Development Squad. Who it's for
The Age Group Squad is for divers committed to developing their skills and competing in regional, national and international age-group competitions. For many athletes, this is a rewarding long-term competitive pathway, and represents a significant and rewarding level of achievement. What to expect Training focus
Competition pathway NZ Age Group competitions Progression Future opportunities Divers may continue progressing within the Age Group pathway, or where the Head Coach identifies exceptional long-term potential, may be invited into the Performance Pathway. Selection into the Performance Pathway is by invitation only and is not an expected outcome for all Age Group divers. |
