Parakiore Membership Discount
Canterbury Diving members are eligible for a 20% discount on most Parakiore memberships.
This is a great option if your child or you attend multiple diving sessions each week. The discount is available to divers registered with Canterbury Diving and applies to all standard Parakiore memberships (excluding Swimsmart memberships). It is available to both new and existing members.
Parakiore applies the discount once there are 10 or more active Canterbury Diving members linked to our corporate group. We already have members registering, so we'd encourage anyone who is interested to apply.
To access the discount, Parakiore requires a letter from Canterbury Diving confirming your membership with the club. If you'd like us to prepare this for you, simply complete this form. We'll then send you the completed letter, which you can take to any Christchurch City Council recreation facility to have your membership linked to the Canterbury Diving corporate group.

A few important things to note:
- The 20% discount cannot be combined with a Community Services Card or Hāpai Card discount (the higher 30% discount will apply instead).
- The discount applies to memberships only. It does not apply to multi-visit passes, Swimsmart enrolments or casual entry.
- The discount applies to future membership payments only and cannot be backdated.
- If you're already on a prepaid membership when the discount becomes active, Parakiore will extend your membership by the equivalent value of the discount rather than providing a refund.
