The performance pathway includes the following squads:

• Development Squad (Junior & Senior)
• Performance Squad

​This pathway is designed for committed divers aiming for high performance, with advanced training, specialised coaching, and opportunities to compete at national and international levels.

Talent ID Class

Who it's for​

• Divers aged 5+ identified with strong potential
• Entry into the performance pathway

What to expect

• Ongoing assessment (not a one-off trial)
• Focus on:
  • Physical ability
  • Coordination
  • Coachability
  • Skill development
• Designed to place each diver in the right pathway

Progression

• → Development Squad (performance pathway)
• → Competitive pathway (Skills / Age Group)

Training schedule  
Under 9s

• Tuesdays 5.00-6.00pm

10 years +

• Wednesdays 5.00-6.00pm

All age groups

• Saturdays 10.00-11.00am

$15 per session (charged per term)

Development Squad

Who it's for​

• Divers selected into the performance pathway
• Athletes showing strong potential for higher-level competition

What to expect
Training focus

• Advanced technical development
• Higher difficulty dives
• Stronger performance expectations

Commitment

• 3–4 sessions per week
• Domestic competitions expected

• This is a higher level than Age Group Squad
• Divers are selected based on progression and potential

• Wednesdays 4.00-6.00pm (dryland & pool)

Senior Development (12+)

• Mondays 4.00-6.00pm (dryland & pool)
• Tuesdays 4.00-6.00pm (dryland & pool)
• Thursdays 5.00-7.30pm (dryland & pool)
• Optional: Fridays 4.00-6.00pm (dryland & pool)
• Saturdays 8.30-11.00am (dryland & pool)

Junior Development

• 3x/week, excluding the optional dryland session: $195 per month
• 4x/week, including the optional dryland session: $240 per month

Senior Development

• 4x/week, excluding the optional dryland session: $250 per month
• 5x/week, including the optional dryland session: $290 per month​
