Leadership and operations
Canterbury Diving, Auckland Diving, and Diving Ōtākou operate as aligned regional programmes within a shared national framework. This approach streamlines governance and management across all three entities, supporting a more sustainable future for diving in New Zealand while maintaining strong, locally delivered programmes.
Leadership is shared across the network, with a central management team providing consistency and direction. This includes a Chief Executive Officer working across all entities, alongside a National Development Manager supporting programme growth and ensuring consistency, alignment, and delivery across regions. By aligning leadership, systems, and planning, we are able to operate more efficiently while continuing to invest in quality coaching and athlete development.
At the same time, each programme remains connected to its local community, ensuring that delivery is responsive, accessible, and tailored to the needs of its divers. This balance allows us to maintain high standards, clear pathways, and a consistent experience for athletes nationwide.
